Tears are the silent language of grief. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Al-Kenna M. Schrader. She was born June 14, 1947 in Washington, DC and passed away October 4, 2024 in Jacksonville, Florida. Al-Kenna held many titles in her life. She was a wife to R. Wayne McAllister, sister to Kati and Kerry, a daughter and caregiver to Alice and Kenneth, an aunt to Chris, Brian and Lisa. Al-Kenna never missed a soccer or baseball game, a swim meet, or a piano or guitar recital. Her support was sincere and unending. Happiness is beneficial for the body, but it is grief that develops the powers of the mind. Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed." We are truly crushed. She will be greatly missed by her pup, Harley as well as the rest of her family and friends.
