She grew up in South Houston with her siblings; Sue, George and John. Barbara graduated from Dobie High School. In 1973 she married Clifton Long Jr. Together they had 3 children; Clifton, Nancy and Teri. Barbara worked for La Porte ISD for over 20 years as a bus driver. She loved taking care of "her babies" and getting them safely to and from school. Barbara passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2020. She is preceded by her husband, Clifton Long Jr. (2008), her parents, Vernon and Dorothy and brother John. She is survived by her children; Clifton Long III and Aviana Smith, Nancy and Patrick Pachucki, Teri Long and Ashley Crawford. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Kelsea, Connor, Clifton IV, Zayne, Logan, Cora, Dustin, Destiny, Alex and Brianna. There are many extended family and friends that will miss her deeply.
