Betty Lou Jackson, age 91, of Dickinson, Texas, peacefully entered her Lord's presence on Monday, March 13, 2023.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Alton "Al" Jackson, her parents Thelma Love Miller and Allen Westbrook, brothers Cliff and Lowell Westbrook, and children David Allen Jackson and Debra Kay Willis. She is survived by her sister Sarah Krustchinsky, daughter-in-law Gwendolyn Jackson, and son-in-law John Willis.
Betty was the proud grandmother to Kristen Morris, Dustin Jackson, Derek Willis and Jacob Jackson. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Tristan and Emersyn Morris and Zane Willis.
Betty was a long time member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, one of her many passions. She loved teaching children and brought joy to many hearts. In church, she shared her love for the Lord through sign language by signing worship songs.
Her home was always open to family and friends to share a cup of coffee and dessert. She also shared her love of bowling with her team and friends and grandchildren.
She lived a full life in Christ and will be missed as a loving and beloved mother, grandmother and friend.
