Bobby Joe Thomas was born on June 21, 1946 to McKinley and Lela Thomas of La Porte, TX. One of eleven children. Bobby Joe was a lifelong resident of La Porte. He retired after working more than 30 years in the chemical plant industry. He and his wife Rosemary were together for more than 45 years.Bob was blessed with 5 boys William, Nobie, Lewis, Bobby Jr. (Yvonne) and Chris (Amanda) Bobby Joe was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers Leroy and Earl Thomas, sisters Mildred Thomas, Martha Warren and Susie Hill. Bobby Joe leaves to cherish his memory; wife Rosemary, children William, Nobie, Lewis, Bobby Jr. (Yvonne) and Chris (Amanda), grandchildren Rachella, Tyrese, Jasmine, Keenan, Dynasty, Eyan, Aidyn, Taleighla, Tristan, Ava, LeBron and Aaron. Brother Edward Thomas, Sisters Hilda Mae Scott, Lillie B. Warren, Ella Mae Thornton, Frances Jordan, and host of nieces and nephews and many friends. Bobby Joe will be missed but never forgotten and his legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren.
