David William Sunday was born January 30, 1952 to Zeb Dee and Rose (Surovec) Sunday in Houston, Texas. He grew up in the Houston are along with his siblings; Ricky, Bobby and Stephen. He always enjoyed being on the water. He was quite good at barefoot skiing. He always enjoyed music and a definite "80's" man. He had a huge Baseball card collection and was fond of collecting guns David graduated from Galena Park High School. He joined the City of Houston as a Firefighter in March of 1981 and was connected to Station #71. For over 25 years he served the City of Houston. He retired in August of 2006. David enjoyed his retirement and spent time at the American Legion (playing shuffle board). He also enjoyed time out on the water. David met Alma in 2007 and after four years together, David and Alma were wed in April of 2011. David passed away all too sudden, on December 23, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Alma. Brothers; Ricky James Sunday and Stephen Sunday; Son, David W D Sunday; daughters, Jennifer and Jamie, brother, Stephen Sunday as well as extended family and many friends. David is preceded by his parents and his brother, Bobby. He will be missed.
