Gary Wood Harper, 59, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on September 19, 2023, in Pasadena, Texas. Born on December 27, 1963, in Pasadena, Gary was a kind and humble man with a great sense of humor. He was a God-fearing individual who took pride in his business, Houston On Call. Gary had a deep love for music, animals, and spending time near the water and at his favorite parks. He enjoyed writing blogs, playing the guitar, and going on drives. Gary is survived by his beloved son, Justin W Jankovic, his brother Larry Harper, sister-in-law Nicole Harper, sister Tammy Jackson, and many other cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Nell Harper, father Billie Jack Dale Harper, and brother Darrell Harper. As the owner of Houston On Call, Gary dedicated himself to his career. He was known for his hard work, professionalism, and commitment to providing excellent service. A memorial service was held in honor of Gary at Clear Lake Park in Seabrook, Texas. A memorial bench will also be dedicated to him at the park, a place he loved dearly. Stepping Stone Funeral Home, specifically Stepping Stone Celebrations, located in La Porte, Texas, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements. Gary Wood Harper will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kind heart, love for music, and dedication to his family and business will always be remembered. May his soul rest in peace.
