Gary Eugene Meeks was born in Pasadena, Texas on July 14, 1954. A longtime resident of La Porte, TX of forty years, graduating from La Porte High School He lived a full life and enjoyed many activities that involved spending time with family and friends. His hobbies were cross word puzzles, fishing, hunting, collecting guns, enjoyed his Netflix an avid movie watcher, he enjoyed spicy foods, and of course his cocktail Bourbon and coke. Gary excelled as a skilled operator during his long career at Air Products. He retired to his permanent home in Lake Livingston, where he loved being near the water.He is preceded in death by his father and mother Howard and Joan Meeks, and his brother Danny Meeks.Gary is survived by his two children Chris Meeks (Angela Meeks) and Jennifer Wallin (Jose Orosco). One brother, Douglas Meeks and Sister-in-law, Lisa Meeks Grandchildren; Ashlee Wallin and Alexia Meeks, his best friends Randy Markum and Melvin Hymes and a host of extended family and friends.
