Obituary

Jackson Alexander Bigby "Jack" brought sunshine into the world on May 4, 1999 to Alexis and Randall Bigby in Houston, Texas. As this bright child grew he excelled in Football - from flag football when he was just 6, to being Varsity Bulldog at La Porte High School. He loved to skateboard and snowboard, would always take a fishing trip with his Dad and brothers over anything else. He shared a love of motorcycles with his dad, mom and many others. He graduated La Porte High School in 2016. Jack moved on to San Jacinto College and filled in his off hours working at HEB and then at Saltgrass Steak House. Jackson was happy and very active. He had more friends than we can count and was looking forward to moving on to Sam Houston State University in the fall. He was always singing, in the shower, in the car, at work, at school…. - might be old school rap from the 90s, might be country, might be an on point hit that just dropped - anywhere he could bring a little joy and a lot of noise. He left all too soon on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Jackson leaves behind his mother, Alexis Lockhart and stepfather, Jeff (Bear) Joubert; his father, Randall Bigby; siblings, Brandon Grych, Riley Huebel, Zachary Bigby, Samuel Bigby, Lauren Brock and Sara Northwick. His grandparents, Anne Florian, Jim Lockhart and Joe and Lanette Joubert will miss him greatly. Jackson's grandparents, Bill (Papa) and Jo Ann (Grandmama) Bigby and his Uncle Jason Lockhart were waiting at Heaven's door to greet him. We celebrate his life on Monday, May 27, 2019. We will remember his spirit and joy for life.
