James Eric Moore, known as Eric to family and friends, was 56 years old when he passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 in Houston, Texas. Eric was born on October 23, 1964 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Barbara Fry Moore and the late James Franklin Moore. He is survived by his mother, his older sister, Debi and her husband Arnulfo Carrasco; his younger sister, Lori and her husband Roger Miller; his son Matthew Baca and his wife Michelle. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tanner, Braylon and Mattilyn; his nieces, Vanessa, Jessica, Shaylynn, Yulissa and Lorissa; his nephew Bradley; and many great nieces and great nephews. Eric was an avid rock collector and enjoyed taking every opportunity to dig and look for unique rocks to add to his collection. He was a lover of music, with no genre off limits. Some of his favorites included gospel, country, heavy metal and rock and roll. Eric was also an extremely skilled welder, a talented artist, impressive poet and outstanding gardener. Above all else, though, Eric was a loyal and truehearted friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
