Judy Brown left us unexpectedly on Friday, October 7, 2016. She went in for a simple operation (appendix) and was called home instead. Wendy is out of state and not ready to lose her mother. Not only was the surgery a shock but the responsibility of the services are something she just wasn't prepared for. Anything donated will be spent specifically on the funeral expenses. Prayers and finances are both greatly appreciated. Judy Lynn Brown (Speed) was born February 25, 1956 in Victoria, TX to Joy Frederick Speed and Elsa Martha Otilia (Kruger) Speed. She grew up in the Victoria area, working in a nursing home for most of her adult life. She raised one daughter, Wendy and enjoyed being with her grandchildren, watching cartons and movies. She had a love of butterflies and the color blue and any animals, but mostly dogs. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Elsa. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy and husband, George Vychron. Sister; Linda Goines, brother; Dennis and Barbara Speed. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Emily Wallace and Justin Vychron, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.A memorial service will be held, Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1 PM at the Citizens Medical Center Chapel, 2701 Hospital Drive, Victoria, TX, 77901
