Kaila Lynn Coughenour was born August, 20, 2003 in Webster, Texas to Lori Denise Carden and Mitchell William Coughenour. Kaila grew up in La Porte and attended the La Porte schools. She was a bright happy child that shared her love unconditionally. She loved summers so she could spend time in the water, particularly the wave pool. As any young teen she loved to shop, enjoyed movies and being with her friends. Kaila enjoyed spending time with Punkin whenever she could. After moving over to Pasadena, she was attending Fairmont Junior High where she worked hard to make good grades and enjoyed playing clarinet in the band. Kaila passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at home. Too young for our liking, but Heaven has gained another Angel. She will be there to watch over her mom, Lori, dad, Mitchell (wife, Kimberly), as well as her siblings; Kameron Carden, Braylon Okunola and Ava Achuo. So many others; her extended family and many friends will miss her smile and contagious laughter.
