Katie Mae McKenzie was born June 25, 1950 in Mobile, Alabama to Rommie McKenzie and Ruth Banks McKenzie. She went home June 14, 2014 in Lousiana. She love family and life. In her early years she attended Bayou Battrie Hight School. Soon after she gave birth to Shauntae Banks, Bennie H. McKenzie (Fran), Will Ray McKenzie, Demeslies McKenzie, & Jalisa Haggerty. Katie Mae leaves behind a host of Grandchildren: Tamaria, Genesis, Tatianna, Jaray, Thomas, Joseph, & Lateria, T.J, & Osha whom she loved and adored very much. Katie Mae was proceeded by her sister Shirley Ann. She is survived by her siblings, Lula, Dannie, Carrie, Estella, & Anne Ruth. Her Great Grand Children: Elijah, Alyiah, Dawon, Deshawn, Taty, Demiha, Lyric, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
