Otho Jerome Bell, "Jerry" passed away on Thursday April 10, 2014 in Kyle, Texas after an 11 month battle with cancer. He worked for Denny's for over 15 years as a General Manager. He then retired with Pinkerton Security in 2001 as a security guard. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otho R. Bell & Hattie Hutchins. He is survived by his two brothers; Harold and wife, Sandy Bell and family and Jeff Bell and family. Two sisters; JoAnn Allen and family, Mary and husband, Brett Boone and family. Three daughters; Crystal and husband Andrey Alpeyev, Diana and husband, Robert Cook and family, Charlene and husband Nicanor Lopez and family. One son; Ricky and wife Roberta Cantu and family. Eight grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 2 great grandsons. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Ruth Lea for her care during Jerry's final months. A Memorial service with be held on Saturday, April 19 at 11 am at Stepping Stone Funeral Home, 215 S. Broadway, La Porte, TX. Burial will follow at La Porte Cemetery with Navy Military honors.
