Rachel "Radie" Ann Quijano, of San Antonio, entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2019, at the age of 60. Rachel was born on November 8, 1958 in Houston to David and Clara Quijano, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her brothers David and Robert, her sister Martha, her daughter Erica Porter, and grandchildren Alexis, Christa and Justin. While living in Tennessee, Rachel attended the Tennessee Technological University for Aesthetics. She moved back to Texas and became a licensed aesthetician in 2000. While living in the Houston area, Rachel began pursuing her true passion – animals, dogs to be exact. In 2010, Rachel channeled her love for dogs and completed the Golden Paws School of Dog Styling to become a dog groomer. In 2016, Rachel relocated to San Antonio with her two dogs, Latte and Lance, and continued her career as a groomer. Latte, a beautiful standard poodle, would always attract attention by her stylish appearance. Lance, not to be outdone by his big sister, was dressed in a tiny sombrero and serape for Halloween. Rachel adopted a toy poodle, Oliver, after Latte passed. We would like to welcome family and friends to a Celebration of Life for Rachel at 10 am on September 21, 2019 at Stepping Stone Funeral Home located at 215 S. Broadway St. in La Porte.
