Teresa Diane Mitchell was born on Friday, April 06, 1956 to Nolan and Winnie La Fleur in Pasadena, Texas. Teresa in her childhood enjoyed playing with her sister Donna, and her Aunt Kathy, playing with her Liddle Kiddles, Barbie's & Trolls. As she grew older the music she loved most was from artists Alice Copper, Elvis, Journey, & David Bowie.Teresa was a graduate of North Shore High School, Houston, Texas. She later attended San Jacinto College, Pasadena, TX. In 1975 Teresa married Joe Elkins of Houston, Texas. On August 17, 1979 she was joined in marriage to David Mitchell of Pasadena, Texas.Teresa was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She loved anything Disney, beachcombing, antique stores, estate sales, she loved flamingos and being out in the sun. She also loved taking care of plants and keeping her yard beautiful. She received much enjoyment out of her Middle Eastern Arabian Indian décor. She loved her many pets; her cats, dogs, turtles & birds. She adored her children and granddaughter, as well as her "grand-pets".Teresa held many positions in her career, among them was as a Poll Worker on election days. She was dedicated to her faith and church as a confirmed Catholic. She was also very devoted to the Virgin Mary.On Saturday September 24, 2016 Teresa passed at her home in Pasadena, TX. Teresa Diane went to rest in the arms of the Lord.
