Yolanda Ann Forest was surrounded by family and friends at her home in Bacliff where she passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2014 after a battle with cancer. She was born October 22, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Charlene (Green) and Harold Forest. She attended La Porte High School and spent time working in the area industry when she wasn't enjoying the company of her children and friends. She was a very outgoing person who grew up to become a great mom, and "Nanny". Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents; Charlene and Harold Forest and a sister; Katherine Ann Black. She leaves behind her children; Holly Jo Forest, Steven Spears, Chris Spears and Melody Ann Spears as well as two brothers: Butch Forest and Bubba Forest and three sisters; Mary Ann Payne, Jo Anne Forest and Tanya Ann Forest. She shared her love with her grandchildren; Boo Forest and Calvin, Sean Armentor and Wendy, Tiffany Johnson, Chris Johnson, Angel Forest, April Forest, Zoey Spears, Zackery Spears, Austin, Spears, Skyler Spears, Johnathan Fleener, Destiny Fleener and Cyndi Camacho and Cameron Tucker, great grandson; Seth Hulsey; Her dogs are missing her too; "lil bit, Martini, Sugar Bear, Buffy and Nogood.
